Teetering On The Brink of Forty

I was born today...thirty nine years ago. My thirties have been the best years of my life. I have a mere 12 months more of it to enjoy.

I'm grateful to have made it this far.

Still have all my teeth.

Still have a passable figure.

Still have a job, and medical benefits (for now...)

Still can find something to laugh about.

Still have a family that claims me.

Still have hopes and dreams and big plans.
