

It all worked out.
The process was fiddly. Unpredictable.
I got scared.
At one point the fiber looked splotchy & hideous...but as the saying goes, "It all came out in the wash."
In the lower photo, I honed in on the yarn ball band, emblazoned with my farm name and this blog's name :) The photo on top is quite lightened, due to flash photography. It does show the color variations nicely, though. It's a rather dark green and navy. I have named this dyelot "Blackwatch" for the plaid.
I suppose it's more dignified than naming it "Bruise".
