Pleased to present Pippi. She was found starving in Dewey's work trailer thingy. I caught her, fed & brushed her, wormed & de-flea'd her...and kept her. She loves us.
Man, I need another animal like I need a hole in the head.
Meanwhile, I've been making wild black raspberry jelly. We have tons of canes along our property, and I enjoyed learning how to can in a hot water canner. We canned some strawberry jam just after Memorial Day, too, after Dew came home with ten pounds of strawberries from our local farmstand.
I've given jars away to friends and family, and they keep me supplied with mason jars.
